Over twenty-eight years ago we lost my big brother to a heat stroke incident at Fort Sill, OK. He was young, bright and seemingly had his whole life in front of him. Not a day goes by when I don't think about honoring him with my service. As I enter my 33rd month of Brigade Command (7th TTSB), the last 10 being deployed to to Afghanistan, I hope I make him proud. I know as you sit at the right hand of our Father you continue to keep a watchful eye on the unit and all our Soldiers plus their families. I hope I make you proud, I know you always made me proud to be your little brother. Good lookin' out. I miss you. Randy |
