| I was a friend of the Gorbandt/Jones Family in Rome, Georgia. Chuck was a great kid! I recall how joyous he was when he was accepted to USMA! It was a small world because my professor was Colonel Thayer and everyone knows who Sylvanus was! Chuck was the hero of Rome. He probably was a hero to everybody he met! |
