Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Karson Snyder on September 10, 1999:

Rob was a "real guy" whose down-to-earth approach made life at USMA much more bearable. I appreciated the way dismantled the arguments of MAJ St Denis, our Plebe English P. When we were Yearlings, he would come up to visit the I-3 company area and encourage us in our various efforts, from tennis ball cannon making to just shooting the breeze.

As an Infantryman, it was reassuring to know a guy like Rob was an aviator because I knew that if I was in a jam, there was at least one guy who would come help me out. You could count on him as both a friend and a professional. Rob will always live on in my mind as the kind of guy I'd want my son to be.

Thank you for your service, Rob, and for sharing yourself with us for the short time you were here.
