Hey Joe, it's been years and I feel like your soul is on to bigger and better things, but I felt like writing this down. I told my students about you today, I hope it leaves an impression for them to be positive and live every moment to the fullest like you did the short time you were here. Like everyone, I think about your parents and hope they are OK. I remember being out at Frederick with you and the smile that came over your face when you saw my last name, and how you said it sounded like some type of Aqua Sock company lol. And then when I asked if you wanted to be my business partner and you smiled and laughed and said "Of course!" You had such an easy and natural smile. Back then I wasn't used to smiling, but I do it a lot more these days. That day at Frederick was a good day, and I won't forget it. See you down the road, partner. Ps-this year we might beat Navy. Seriously. |
