| COL Timmerman was my battalion commander at 6-32 Armor in 1981 Ft. Cardon, Colorado when I was a 2LT. Great leader, great communicator, led us out to the NTC and got us combat ready. He went on to a brilliant career at USAA and then as a college professor. Very saddened to learn of his passing... |
