I was lucky enough to meet LTG Moore when he and Joseph Galloway made a visit to CGSC at Fort Leavenworth in 2001. I was very glad to meet both gentlemen and appreciate the time they took to see us. LTG Moore gave a lecture to the class in the auditorium and it was helpful to those facing the prospect of deploying for their own war as well as inspirational in how he thought constantly of his men. He was a man who seemed focused on getting the job done. My condolences to his family and to those who served with him, on or off the battlefield. |
