| It was my good fortune to serve then Col Gannon as the BDE S2 officer in Bamberg. As a 2nd Lt I was assigned as the S2 officer filling a major's position and needed a lot of guidance from my superior officers. Col Gannon set high standards for leadership and conduct. I owe much of my post army success to the leadership skills I learned from Col Gannon. I am very happy to see that he was promoted to general officer. He deserved it. |
