| Ray and his wife were close to Sue and me at Fort Knox and Germany, where we were in the same A/C Battalion. Ray tried to transfer to the forces in Korea, but was turned down. He was one of the 49er Armor officers selected to go to U. Penn for an M.A. in English. Then followed several years teaching English at WP, where we saw them occasionally. Ray found his war service in Viet Nam. I have kept up with Nancy through the years. |
