| Ray and I came into the Army in June 1944. We were roommates while attending Washington University. Knew his family well in Omaha. Used to fly in and visit. In Germany, he was on the Border and I was in Munich. Met in Vietnam in 1965. Last time I saw Ray. We spoke after each of us had retired, but never met again. All honor to his name! |
