My personal "memoirs' of ED HINDMAN..date back to 1948-1949..at USMA..ED..was our Cadet Battalion..COMMANDER..2d BN..2d Regiment..

I really cannot recall..how we got to know each other..but..somehow..ED..knew how to get "dates" at SMITH COLLEGE..!!

Once we got our CARS..!!

I think I saw ED..at the 50th..??..Anytime I saw ED..he always reminded me about SMITH COLLEGE..Firstie-year..!!

I think I last saw ED..was at a DC 49er Class Lunch at the Pentagon..which we had to "dis-continue" after 9-11-2001..!!boo..!!

My THANKS to DAVE BOLTE..to "caring-for ED..for many years..!!

I'm sorry that I could not come down from PA..to.."assist"..when I SHOULD HAVE..!!
