| I had the privilege of working for General Feir for two years at West Point in the Commandant's office. We played handball every day at noon (combat rules). He taught me to be a better writer, staff officer, and wiser in not letting small things get in the way. I shall always remember him as the finest mentor and friend of my military career. |
