I love my father still, and even more deeply today BECAUSE I understand him better than I ever have. My understanding has emerged from a deep well: a well of pain, suffering and injury as well as: recovery, healing and WORK... he taught me the value of hard work. Work for the growth of character and emergence. Work for the sake of helping others and our own HELP that comes from God. Dad was not overtly religious (thankfully) I MISS HIM and I have an old picture of him I will add, if I can. |
