| I had the pleasure of serving under LTG Forrest when he was the 1st Army Commander. I was his driver and spent many hours talking with him as we drove to and from his meetings or to the airport. I will remember him and Mrs. Forrest for their kindness. Mrs. Forrest always invited me into the house for coffee when I arrived a little early. Sorry to hear of his passing. |
