First Lt. Jerome Jay Paden was born in Los Angeles on December 17, 1926. He was the son of Mrs. Mabel Ruth Merritt Paden and LTC John K. Paden. He graduated from West Point in 1949, was wounded at the Pusan perimeter and died enroute to Japan during medical evacuation on September 20, 1950. He is buried at the Old Cadet Cemetery at West Point. I am very interested in Merritt family genealogy. |
