West Point, 1951

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Sel Graham, '51 on October 9, 2006:

Dick Breakiron always looked like a West Point Cadet should look. What military bearing. But it was his quiet dignity that impressed everyone. When Beadeye spoke, everyone listened.

A few years ago, when the CEO came to Pflugerville, Texas to inspect the WP-ORG pfunction in Pflugerville, Pat and I had an enjoyable visit with Beadeye. I could not help but be amazed at his dedication to West Point, our class, and other classes through WP-ORG. DUTY, thy name is Dick Breakiron.

I am proud just to be a friend of someone as distinguished and dedicated as Dick Breakiron. He was truly a great American.
