I remember General Otis with great fondness and deep admiration both as a Math "P" during my cadet days and later in the Army. When General Otis was the ODCSOPS of the Army, I had the good fortune to work closely with him as the Asst Exec(SACO) on the E Ring of the Pentagon. What a true gentleman at all times--a caring 'boss,' a wonderful person, a remarkable leader, and wonderful example for anyone around him. Jerry Cecil, '66 |
