Leland C. Rew was my godfather. One of my favorite memories was when he and my father Thomas W. Brogan were watching the ARMY/Navy game. I was about 4 or so and Uncle Leland asked me where I wanted to go to school when I grew up. I responded with "where they play that song" Of course they were playing Anchors Away, He thought my father had put me up to it. He gave me a cross for my 18th birthday. He was a man of faith.
