Leland Rew will always be remembered by me as "Lt. Rew", my platoon leader in the 3rd Platoon, H Company, 38th Infantry Regiment in 1954-55 at Ft Lewis, Washington. He was and still is the finest officer I served under. Even today, sixty years later, when talking about my military experience I mention and tell stories about "Lt. Rew". Cpl. Donald Knapp |
