Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tori Vinson on September 17, 2009:

I remember my first and last time meeting my grandfather Vinson on febuary 6 2004 for his birthday. I was curious at the time that he died because i was young I am young now too
but i was younger than i am now. i remember my step grandma, grandma francis. she usually liked us calling her Fran or francis or grandma. grandfather vinson always told me stories of my grandmother vinson. we had traveled to Alexandria, just me my older sister Alex and my grandfather's youngest child who i call daddy.i remember that i was so young that wherever
I traveled somebody told me storytime daily and Grandfather vinson and grandma francis told me stories of grandmother vinson. When my parents went to my dad's father's funeral i felt so lonely for 2 reasons 1 every one was so depressed that I did not get storytime. and 2 i missed him so much that i cried every day.as i look at the tribute to army and navy men and look at my grandfather right now i look up to heaven thanking the saints, angels and god that he is my hope faith trust and grandfather
