I am the daugher, wife and now mother of military. I also belong to a support group of wives, mothers, and other family members who have a loved one in the service. One of the things we do is a 'comfort' book for the family of the fallen. When Col. Burnett was brought home, I told people I wanted to do a book for his family. My oldest was 9 months old before she & her father met. I grew up during the Vietnam war and want to let the family know that Col. Burnett is a hero in a lot of people's eyes and he will never be given. |
