Edward R Guthrie was my commander and mentor while I was assigned to USARV Engineer Command in 1970. His management style had a quiet strength that I have tried to emulate ever since. The most important maximum that he ever passed on to me was "Do not worry about things you can not correct, concentrate on those many things you can correct." |
