Be Thou At Peace

LTC Kenneth K. Ikeda (Ret) 83, passed away July 17, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kenneth was a graduate of West Point Military Academy and served in the US Army for 20 years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. After retiring he worked as a Systems Analyst for the Indiana Department of Highways, and volunteered for many years at Roudebush VA Hospital.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Jane. Survivors include his son, Robert Ikeda; his daughters, Debra Ikeda, Mary Griffith (Daniel); grandchildren, Marcus Ikeda (Allison), Heather White (Michael); and sisters, Florence Yasuda and Nora Inaba.

Services were held on Monday, July 22 at 6 PM at Flanner and Buchanan, Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. He is to be interred in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, HI.

Memorial contributions may be made to The National Parkinson's Foundation in Hagerstown, MD.
