To all of Phil's family and friends: This is Mike, Phil's oldest son. Dad finally left this earth to join his heavenly Father this morning (Wednesday) at 12:45. He's had a rough last two days, as have Mom and my sister Suzy who provided continuous care, so we're so glad he's finally free of his distress and is now at peace. Of course it's also a sad time; we've been in tears, and will continue to shed them whenever we pause and realize he's no longer with us. It's been wonderful being his son, and I'll cherish many fond memories of him. I'll pass along viewing and funeral arrangements as soon as I have them.
