Having been in Company E-1, adjacent to F-1, we all got to know Sandy well, for his congeniality and camaraderie within the Class of 1955. His broad smile and strong grip quickly captured your friendship and trust which extended over the years. During the 55th Reunion in May, Sandy was immersed in and committed to all aspects of every event and especially relished his time on the dance floor with his dear friend Maren. We all admired their grace and charm, enjoying the warmth of every occasion with their compatriots from ski trips and '55 travel journeys across the globe. We will miss you Sandy, on the next trip and trips thereafter, but know that you are now in a better place. May you rest in peace and honored glory among our other friends and classmates who have returned home to West Point. We salute you and bid you farewell. Faithfully, Carl H.
