| Pres Mayson and I first met when we attended Prep School at Sullivan`s Prep in Washington D.C.As you would expect with young men, there were times that in the Dorm rooms there was quite a bit of noise. I decided that if I was going to get anything academically out of the year I needed to find a quiet room. I found one at the end of the hall and who was already there but Pres. We spent the rest of the year side by side preparing for the West Point exam and the classes we were going to have during Plebe year.I knew from that time on that Pres was a serious student and would go far and he did.After graduation we went our different ways but I followed his career both in and out of the military and of course his success as a Doctor and lawyer in later years.I am proud to be his classmate and we are all proud of his accomplishments throughout his life |
