| Woody and I were fellow "G-2ers", sharing more than one escapade during those four years. I regret that we never served together during our time in the Corps of Engineers....I suspect that was my loss! After retirement, we picked up again, and Ruth and I had the great pleasure of being invited to his marriage to Linda in Ayers, MA. I have rarely known a man with more intellectual curiosity about just about any subject that one could name, nor with more interest in his fellow man. His humor and optimism were legend. We shall miss Woody; he made the world a better place for us all. Well done, old friend, be thou at peace. |
