My father (Lt Col Gamble USMA '44) taught him math at the 'Point, and Woody was my chapel leader. I was 9 yo. He came to my quarters several times while stationed there, where he appeared to enjoy my mother's creme puffs. He was an influence in my life, along with his friend, Don Olvey. Thanks Dr. Lou Gamble, Jr & my son Louis, III begins UT Med school here in Memphis this Fall |
