Jim was the manager of both the cross country and track teams, but my fondest memories of him were associated with the smaller of those sports, cross country. We reported for practice on the big field by Michie Stadium in all kinds of weather, and Jim was always there in good humour to cater to our needs. Rain or shine, snow or hail, his positive outlook and optimism were a part of any success we achieved. Thanks, Jim, for your service to our teams and to our country. |
