| Jim and I were company-mates in Company G-2 for four years. He was one of the "good guys" in the company, always ready with a smile and a good word. Although we never served together on active duty, we did see each other from time to time while I was stationed at Carlisle Barracks and Jim was embarking on his second career in city management in a nearby town in Pennsylvania. We enjoyed getting together with he and Shirley at several class reunions in later years. He will be missed. |
