I can still picture Dick as a plebe who always seemed to be tackling a huge problem, especially plebe math where I was able to help him and the bottom line is he graduated with flying colors. During plebe year he and I were on the Brigade Championship football team representing Company A-2. And I should also mention that we could not hear enough about his wonderful Dottie who was waiting for him for four years back in New Albany, Indiana.
