| Tom Weinstein possessed that remarkable quality to smile when the going got tough....both as a Cadet and later as the Army's leading Intelligence Officer! I loved being in his company. I still vividly recall plebe boxing instruction...when I accidentally hit him in the face (a truly lucky blow)....he got that quirky little smile of his and proceeded to make me pay..but without really hurting me! The Army was made a much more "intelligence-conscious" organization by his efforts both at the Intelligence School and as the ACSI....and I suspect the Army is today a much better Army because of him! I miss him already. |
