| I served with LTC Yon in Special Forces and as an Instructor at the Army Ranger School RMC. He was both a close friend and a true leader. Moose loved life, loved to hunt and fish and was a great friend. I was honored to be one of the speakers at his funeral held at the Mountain Ranger Camp which he had commanded in 1972. He will be missed by all those who served with him. |
