| My experience with Bob was first as a cadet and then later in transitioning from the military. In our cadet days Bob was always a unique figure. He came across as so capable, open, friendly and ever supportive in every interaction that I experienced or observed. He was a treasure as a classmate. Our paths did not cross after graduation until I planned to retire. Suddenly, there was Bob in a senior civilian capacity, who made my retirement seamless and productive. In this capacity he possessed the same graciousness, clear advice and was as supportive as ever. One of our (I include my wife, Pat) major regrets is that we moved away and did not maintain our contacts with Bob and Ann. God Bless! |
