Don Ernst was one of the nicest and kindest of our classmates. He was a good friend as a cadet, a very good friend as a fellow Air Force officer and pilot and an excellent friend in our second careers as our paths crossed frequently. Don & Mary were WONDERFUL friends, always upbeat and cheerful. I can't express enough my admiration and love for both of them.
