Jim was one of those guys that everyone liked. I remember when I first met him here in Chicago and the last time i saw him at a WPS of Chicago function, Jim was basically the same Jim that I had met some 35+ years ago. Just a really good guy, always with a smile on his face and a good word to say about everyone. When I used to see him at a Club to which we were both long-time members, it was remarkably easy to get into a great conversation with Jim about something that was happening at our Alma Mater. Since I was a bit more involved than he had been, he would always inquire about the facts and why WP was doing whatever it was doing. These little sessions always led into some mutual war-story tales and always, at the end, that hearty laugh that Jim was known for.
