| Served in the Tactical Operations Center in 1st AD and listened to 1st Brigade romp through Reforger. Whenever we could get anybody to tell us what was happening. He created Fort Illesheim, rewarded audacity, and showed a true warrior spirit. Along with the ability to take time out. Toga! Toga! I along with others followed him to Ft. Polk where he constantly battled the lethargy of a CONUS who cares mentality when it came to fieldcraft and maintenence. He represents for me the epitome of a freeze-dried soldier. Just add water in time of war. And keep far away from the politically correct. |
