| Yes, it was always Charlie and Ann. I remember when Charlie was Assistant Division Commander, 3d Armored Division and he took time out to attend the Class of '56 "Senility Rites" which were often held in the garden of our quarters in Koblenz. Charlie and Ann arrived in a sports car with the top down. I can't remember the make of the sports car, but I sure remember Charlie, as young as when we graduated, joining a spirited group of '56ers and their wives for a summer afternoon on the Rhein. |
