Although Jeff and I were K-1 companymates I didn't get to know him as well as I should have. I ran into him in Philadelphia while on a layover at the end of a United flight from San Francisco. We met and talked for a few minutes. He was also on a layover and a fairly new pilot with United. This occurred in the late 1960's. Sometime later I tried to look him up on a list of United pilots, but was unable to find him. I always found him to be genial and interested in other people. I am sorry I didn't get to know him. |
