I had the distinct privilege of knowing Jeff while a student at San Marcos Military Academy, San Marcos, TX in 1962-63. Lt Childs mentored a troubled youth and inspired me to become a better person. Suffice it to say, I owe him my eternal gratitude. He truly was a caring and gentle soul. |
