| I was a Cow in B-1 when John was assigned to B-1. He was a good cadet and became a friend during my last year. We even played some football together. He always had a smile and was eternally cheerful. Unfortunately, I was never privileged to serve with him, but appreciated the time I did have in his acquaintance. He was a great guy.
