Be Thou At Peace

Posted by William T. Wilbourne Jr on July 4, 2011:

Our response to Don Jr's email advising us of his Dad's passing...Don and Bobbie are dear friends for over 40 years.

"Don, We sincerely appreciate the info. You are absolutely correct. He was very dedicated family man up to the end. Our 40 year friendship was just like his final hours, always concerned for family and friends. Our last conversation in his hospital bed, he asked me how our family was and "please give our best to Sherry". When I interviewed for my job with him in Taipei, he wanted to make sure his decision to give me the job was in the best interest of our family. He was, without a doubt, the best officer I ever worked "with". He always reminded me that we worked together. He said you don't work for me, you work with me. Please give our very best to your Mom. They were a great team in family and marriage and we know she will now go through some bad moments. She is a strong woman and will get through it.. When she gets back to SC, we will call and talk to her. Please keep us posted on future plans and again, thanks for the update.

Bill and Sherry"
