I miss you Dad. You were always there for me when I was down, so wish I could see you now to see your grandkids. I try to be like you with them. And I'm no where close to how calm you always were about things but I look at your picture and try again. You were right about how difficult parenting is. I stay sober to be the best Dad I can be to them. Thank You for believing in me to get to where I am now. I could not have made it this far with out your compassion and unconditional love. My kids are in the world because you gave and gave to get me on my feet, and I owe it to you to stay on my feet. It's just gut wrenching to not be able to spend time with you, but as you always sang. Jesus wants you for a Sun Beam. Love Ricky |
