Clark was a great athlete -- a big guy with big muscles -- who stood out in the Army Track Team as a hammer-thrower. He contributed much to Army's victories in inter-collegiate sports. Clark and I parted ways after Graduation Day and our paths never crossed again. Many years later, I learned that Clark had stayed in the military, but his path took a different turn, when he joined the Medical Corps. And now, my final salute to a great guy.
