Be Thou At Peace

Posted by John Getgood on August 23, 2006:

Jed was an inspirational friend, comrade in arms, and a great soldier. As my supporting engineer when we commanded in Bamberg in the late 70's he consistently provided sound advice on the employment of his engineers in support of my covering force mission. We attended the War College at Carlisle together and maintained our close relationship. While at TRADOC Headquarters he assisted me with our move from Fort Knox to Fort Monroe.Following our retirements we maintained a professional relationship and shared thoughts on the demise of the Soviet regime in Eastern Europe.

He will be missed by family and friends as he joins the Long Grey Line in a better place. God Bless good friend.
