At Christmas in 1971 Bill dressed up as Santa and visited the kids in Dunover Court. I think that the Burneys and Michliks were there at that time also. Three year old Gary III was very polite to "Santa" and responded "Yes Santa, no Santa, etc." When Bill had gone, we asked the kids if they were surprised that Santa had visited them and we remember so well Gary's response: "That wasn't Santa. That was Captain Miller. He's my fishin buddy!" Well done, Bill. Rest in peace. The world is a better place because of you. Gary and I send our best to Carolynn, Michelle and Jon. |
