| Johnny Ward's Directory Entry for Skeet says he was challenged in English "but went on to become a hive". I don't know about that because he sure seemed to be in a lot of my classes. Or maybe I just crossed paths with him a lot, or maybe he just stood out when I did. I didn't know Skeet real well, but distinctly remember how relaxed and friendly he was. He was just comfortable to be around. Southern Comfort. I was glad to see him at the reunion, and very sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to Dagmar and his family. Well Done, my friend. Be thou at peace. |
