| Chet Kempinski and I had the pleasure of "rooming" with Dave and Carolyn at this years edition of the '64 Ski Group at Vail. We were quite the family and Carolyn did a good job of putting up with the three of us. Dave and I had been BOQ mates during our initial Army tour in Hawaii. I really had not seen him again, other than at reunions, until the mini reunion last year in Charleston, where Dave was one of the honchos for the golfing events. Vail gave us the opportunity (neither of us fanatic skiers) to spent quality time together and as often is the case it was like we had never parted since cadet days. Over the years I have run into many with careers in the FBI and without exception they have all remembered Dave with the highest regard. |
