Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Kimberly Booth Rimmer on August 21, 2009:

Dear Binney Family,
It has been many years since we have connected, and it is with great regret that we are re-connecting because of Mr. Binney's death. I am so sorry to only hear of this now - 2009 -- almost a year later. Your dad was such a wonderful man. And, in the short time that I knew him, he made such a profound impression on me and my family. His kindness and warm spirit was just as visible as his pride and dedication to his country and family. Quite a package of a true gentleman! Mr. Binney always had a smile and easily earned great respect of those who encountered him.

My deep regret is to not have kept up with him and you all. How sadly ironic it is that after so many years, our families lived just a few short miles from each other in South Carolina and knew some of the same people. We would have loved to continue our friendships. We were truly blessed to have known Dave Binney.

I hope this finds each of you and your extended families doing well, knowing you are in our prayers. May you find peace that you will all be reunited with your Dad in Heaven with our Lord.

With love and sadness,
Kimberly Booth Rimmer
