I filmed Capt. Green's Mike Force Battalion at Ba Me Ga near Ban Me Thout in 1969. After the operation he gave me a ride back to base in his jeep. The truck I should have been riding in ran over a mine. So I only knew him for the space of a jeep ride, but it was an event that was very important to me. I was sad to learn that he died in action several months later. Marty, thanks for the ride. Geo Francis of 233 Coy. died of cancer last year in Oz. |
