Jeff Kleb was indeed a multidimensional individual. My good fortune was being his roommate in E2 simply because I signed up to take Russian language. Jeff not only helped Bob Almassy and me get through Russian but he provided that much needed "experience" factor that helped me and many of our classmates survive Plebe year. I reconnected with Jeff upon returning to West Point in 1977 and we enjoyed lots of great times together while helping Coach K with the basketball team. We kept in touch over the years and I was always amazed by his boundless energy. He really cared about people and made an indelible mark on us all. Rest in Peace. Jack |
